Cerney Award

2023-2024 Mary S. Cerney Student Paper Award

Applications Due July 24, 2023!
This award is given annually to the best student paper dealing with some aspect of personality assessment. This award carries a small stipend to help defray the cost of attending the Annual Convention.

Eligibility

Students in psychology or related disciplines are invited to apply. Eligible papers are those first-authored by a student (at the time the work was completed). Papers based on doctoral dissertations are eligible only if the reseach was completed prior to the granting of a doctoral degress and submitted within a year of completing the degree.

Submission

Please submit a paper as a journal-style manuscript, along with a cover letter identifying the student and stating the paper's relevance to the field of personality assessment. For co-authored submissions, the student must be the first author. Please do NOT submit an entire dissertation or thesis.

All applications must be submitted by July 24, 11:59pm EDT / July 25, 4:59pm GMT.
